Stats are down for a bit

bamnews Due to an extraordinary accident in one of our US data centers three servers are still off line. Surely we have a backup plan for one server at a time, but now with three this makes it really hard for us. We are still working on a solution to bring your statistics back online as soon as possible.

DOD:S UPDATE IS HERE

webnews Day Of Defeat Steamworks Update In Beta

A new update adding support for Steamworks is currently available in beta for Day of Defeat: Source, the popular World War II online action game from Valve, creators of the Half-Life and Counter-Strike games.
Leveraging the recently released free set of services available in Steamworks, the Day of Defeat update will add 51 achievements for DoD, player avatar display in the scoreboard and win panel, and detailed player statistics integrated with the Steam Community features (www.steamcommunity.com).

This update also adds support for popular features introduced in Valve's Team Fortress 2 (TF2), the PC title named multiplayer game of the year by Gamespy.com and PC Gamer. These include "nemesis/revenge" freeze cam and new effects driven by the particle system introduced to the Source engine for TF2.

In addition, this update will also introduce a new map, dod_Palermo, which is a remix of the most popular community map, dod_salerno.

Owners of Day of Defeat: Source, retail and Steam versions, may join the beta free of charge.

Donations

bamnews Our goal is to make sure that people that choose to play on our servers have the best time possible. We here at -{BAM}- strive to provide a welcoming place for people of all ages, on the best fucking servers and a Bad Ass site. That not only connects gamers, but has plenty of useful and some not so useful things at the click of a mouse. Although we are more than happy to provide these services to gamers globally free of charge, donations are always appreciated. All your donations go directly into the servers and website, or to help us with providing you with new things such as more servers and in different games. Donations are appreciated. Thanks and enjoy your stay!

Donations at work

server news We are the proud owners of a New map testing server. For when 13 and any others are making maps they will be able to throw them on to a server and test them. Remember it's not what the server/clan can do for you, it's what you can do for the server/clan.
